TAKING PHOTOS USING A DIGITAL CAMERA or Smartphone
Before taking your photo, carefully choose the background carefully. HINT: Taking the photo at a low angle gives the model a larger, more realistic presence. Adjusting your photo's color or brightness using photo editing software can totally change your model's appearance. Additionally, modern day smartphones have cool imaging editing effects that further add a dramatic tone to your model.
Compose Images
Composing your model is important. Carefully choose where you plan on setting your model or R/C build. Be creative. Think about what setting may better enhance the story that your model is telling. Imagination is your only limit. Lastly, if you’re comfortable in shooting your model on a well-lit photo room, by all means snap some creative stances of your model. A well composed model on a simple white background often speaks volumes.
