The 2025 TCS Rules have been uploaded to our website. You can check out the updated rules here: 2025 TCS Rules

You have the choice of viewing the PDF (Recommended) or scrolling through the page to read the updated rules.

Here are the basic highlights to some changes:

Article 23: Changes from the 2024 Rules:

23.1 Added the Hobbywing FTM (Fixed Timing Motor) to the Spec Brushless motor rules for the GT-1, GT-2, GT-Pro Spec, and GT-E classes. In the specified classes, the HW FTM may be used in addition to the REEDY FT motor in 2025. The Reedy motor will eventually be phased out in the future.

23.2 Added Gear Diff Tuning Rules to the Euro Truck class.

23.3 Added Tamiya CVA oil filled damper (item 53619) may now be used in the Euro Truck class.

23.4 Added EXOTEK RACING F1 tires and wheels to be the official tire for the Tamiya F1 class. (Note: Some TCS Host locations may elect to have one additional tire choice.)

23.5 Cleaned up and simplified some of the wording in the TCS National Finals eligibility rules.

23.6 Removed “the use of O-Rings” on shock ball ends and turn buckles in the General Rules. This former rule violates “build the car per the instruction manual” ethos. You may no longer use O-rings on ball ends.

23.7 Removed some redundant wording in some of the rules.

23.8 Added a TCS 2025 National Finals announcement regarding a few tweaks to the “Ticket to Japan” class regulations that will be taking place specifically for the National FINALS.
